Discuss the Issues

ENE's partnership with Helium.com gives us an opportunity to hear what others have to say about issues related to climate change, energy and clean air.

Helium.com is a forum where members read, publish and review articles on a broad range of topics, including those that matter most to ENE. Our partner page lists some questions to get the discussion started.

  • What is the potential of energy efficiency in addressing climate change?
  • How can individual states guide and interact with the development of a national US climate action policy?
  • Can biofuels help us reduce global warming pollution and our dependence on fossil fuels?
  • What are ways that cities and states can bring down carbon emissions from motor vehicles?
  • How can carbon offsets contribute to viable carbon cap programs?
  • Which is a more cost-effective and equitable way to bring down carbon emissions: A "cap and trade" program or a carbon tax?
  • Should developers be required to measure the carbon footprint of proposed new developments, as part of the approval process?

Membership in the Helium community is free and open to anyone. Writers sometimes receive a small fee for their publications, and they can contribute their earnings to partner charities like ENE.
